1989 Naval activities (RUB-diesel engines) from SWD-Amsterdam joined at Zwolle with land force activities (MTU diesel engines / RENK transmissions) in business unit Special Products.
1989 Wärtsilä Finland takes majority interest (60 %) in SWD-Amsterdam/Zwolle. Name Stork-Werkspoor Diesel changed into Stork-Wärtsilä Diesel.
1991 Start licence building 100 pc. MTU-diesel engines for 75 pc. salvage tanks Germany and 25 pc. salvage tanks The Netherlands.
1993 Production 3 pc. A-RUB 215 diesel engines for mine hunters Pakistan Navy.
1993 Agreement with KMW GmbH, Mänchen, Germany for maintenance and revision power pack (engine + transmission) for Leopard 2 battle- and salvage tanks Royal Dutch Army.
1997 Name SWD B.V. changed into Wärtsilä NSD Nederland (WNSNL).
1999 Start maintenance and revision (maintenance) MTU 396 diesel-generator sets DE 6400/6500 locomotives Railion Benelux B.V. (former NS Cargo).
1999 Stork N.V. sells remaining 40 % share in WNSNL to Wärtsilä Finland.
1999 Stork N.V. takes over business unit Special Products from Wärtsilä Finland and privatising this into Stork Special Products B.V., Zwolle.
2003 Start new-building prototypes power pack Boxer-project for the benefit of Germany, The Netherlands and the United Kingdom.
2004 Takeover by Stork SP of “defence activities” Stork Bronswerk, i.e. airco system and NBC-filtration systems (so-called ECS).
2004 Start new-building engines/transmissions for the benefit of project PzH 2000 for the Netherlands.
