Together with shelter manufacturer Stork Fokker AESP, Hoogeveen, the OMW (mobile workspace on truck) light weight shelter program was developed in the early 90’s. This program is fully operational and a total of 34 shelters are in service with the Royal Netherlands Army.
The main task of this shelter is to provide a safe working space for technicians under all conditions during out of area missions and is for multi purposes available.
