Minehunters
The Tripartite Class mine hunter program is a program that was initiated in the early 1980’s by the French, Belgian and the Dutch navies to equip themselves with a modern mine counter measure vessel (MCMV). Stork Special Products was partner in this Tripartite Class mine hunter program and involved with the following activities:
- Prime Contractor Main Propulsion System
- OEM A-RUB, main diesel engine
- Co-ordination of auxiliary ship systems
During the early '90’s the Pakistan Navy chose for this type of MCMV’s because of the excellent performance of the vessel.
The Latvia Navy recently took over 5 vessels from the Royal Netherlands Navy, which will be transferred to Latvia in the period 2006-2008.
