Special Cooling Systems
Challenges
In out of area operations the need of additional cooling on several places, other than air conditioning of the crew compartment is required. Radar, computer, communication and ammunition are to be kept within optimal operating temperatures. Critical space, EMC, shock & vibration and the temperature requirements make the cooling system a challenge for our design department.
Different applications
Ground cooling equipment has been delivered to the Royal Netherlands Air Force for the F-16 fighter. For the Royal Netherlands Army special cooling equipment has been developed for the PzH 2000 ammunition cooling to maintain excellent accuracy under extreme ambient conditions.
