Besides the engines, part of the complicated powerpack for tracked and wheeled armoured vehicles are the transmissions. The transmission is an enhanced piece of equipment and takes care of the vehicles steering, braking and function as shift gear. Stork Special Products plays an active role for the following transmissions:
Stork Special Products role varies from production of the transmission to the after sales service, depending on the requirement of the main contractor, the development of the programme and the role of the Original Equipment Manufacturer (RENK or Allison) in the programme. |
